Anna Silk was the first child born to Peter Silk (an academic) and Ilkay Silk (a writer, actor, director, producer and teacher in St. Thomas University). Anna Silk was the daughter of both a British father as well as an English-Turkish Cypriot mother. Her appearances in commercials were numerous in her early years. Anna was able to move to Toronto Ontario in order for the purpose of pursuing her acting. In the decade that followed, she eventually moved to Los Angeles. Seth Cooperman was introduced to Anna in Los Angeles at an acting workshop in 2007. The couple got engaged in 2009. They were married at a civil wedding ceremony in December and they renewed their vows at an Jewish ceremony in Fredericton on April 11, 2011 following Anna's conversion to Judaism.
