Amy Smart, an American actress and former model. Born in California USA, Amy Smart began her modelling career there. Her acting career started in 1996 when she starred in the TV film Her Costly Affair. After a difficult fight, she landed a role as 'Starship Troopers' in her role in Starship Troopers. It was very difficult for her to make the transition from modeling to acting since the models werent usually believed to be actors, and they were usually given smaller and inconsequential parts. Amy was determined to keep trying. She worked her way up to bigger roles. She began in The 70s series and Varsity Blues film. The 2005 romantic comedy Just Friends, which also featured Ryan Reynolds, saw her play some more notable roles. Amy was finally recognized for her efforts over the past 10 years. There were several major films within the Crank trilogy alongside Jason Statham. And she was also a regular character in the Shameless series.
