Paula Patton is an actress and producer who is best known for her roles as a lead actress in the action spy movie Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol and the drama film Precious. As a young girl, Paula Patton was raised in an Los Angeles middle-class household. She was raised by her mom who loved watching films. Paula loved participating in school co-curricular activities, and she was a huge fan of drama. Paula loved acting with friends and was a part of school stage performances. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School's Hamilton Magnet Arts High School was the location of numerous school plays. She made the decision to train as an actor. She was enrolled at the University of Southern California in an intensive summer course and was awed by her experience. The program awarded her a 3-month contract producing documentaries on behalf of PBS. When she was able to complete the assignment with success, she began working as an assistant for the production of TV documentaries. In the following years, she transitioned to the production of documentaries. Even though she loved working in the field, she wanted to become an actor. Her acting debut came with a small role in the romantic comedy of Will Smith Hitch. Since then she's appeared in numerous films and television shows.
